Harmony and Discord.
There are super simple reasons why I paired these images in a single post. Perhaps too obvious is that both feature birds. The top image was taken in the morning, just before the madness that is the office. As I landed in the driver’s seat, I looked up and noticed the birds occupying their respective spaces on the wires. It reminded me of a fingering chart. The bottom image was taken just as I was about to cross the lot to have lunch. I was in a rush, and nearly trampled this poor thing. Sight of the 99% decapitation was a bit shocking and got me wondering who, what and/or how. Naturally, it got me to slow the roll, take a step back and shoot it (I happened to have my xa2, sans A11 flash, in my side pocket).
